There will be drink and shot specials all night.  We will have Shock Top End of the World Wheat beer to enjoy while partying like there is no tomorrow, or at least not another Saturday night!

Bring a favorite covered dish to share with others for the last time.  We will have a buffet with much loved dishes from all our favorite customers along with some Boondocks  preferred foods.

Don’t wait for the Christmas Party this Year, cause we aren’t planning one!  We won’t be here for it so this may possibly be your last party and your last time having a great time with friends at the Boondocks.

Last year, the Volunteer Way opened it’s new Moonlake Outreach Center which is located at 20008 Moonlake Road. The Volunteer Way helps all of Pasco but with the opening of the new center right here in Moonlake, this charity directly affects our neck of the woods. Hidden in our beautiful and spacious undeveloped terrain are areas which have become homeless tent camps. Without the help of the Volunteer Way of Pasco, these families and children will go without food and other things needed for survival.

The Moonlake Outreach Center provides free daily showers, Monday through Friday. Haircuts are available on the first and third Monday of each month. The also provide meals at their free Soup Kitchen 11AM to 3PM, Monday through Friday. All services are available to those who are in need of a nourishing meal, a clean shower, or some personal grooming.

The Volunteer Way asks on their website, “HAVE YOU EVER BEEN HUNGRY?” There are many in this area, including children, who have answered “yes” to that question. These are not people in some far away country, state or even, city. This center is right here in our neighborhood and helping our own neighbors. This charity helps many children, who without their assistance, would go hungry many nights in our own backyard.

So Boondocks encourages all Tampa Bay residents to come help a local community raise money for their less fortunate. Live outdoor music, vendor booths, Bike Show, and Bike Games are a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon while helping people. The slogan for the Volunteer Way is “People Helping People” so Boondocks would like to encourage all local residents to join Boondocks in neighbors helping neighbors.

St. Patty’s Day is almost upon us and you know what that means … Boondock’s annual St. Patty’s Day Celebration with their famous Corned Beef & Cabbage. It will be a party to remember with beer specials, raffles, and prizes. The Celebration starts at 8pm and goes until the bar closes.

You don’t want to miss our famous Corned Beef & Cabbage. This is a Boondock’s favorite with the locals that is mouth watering good. We recommend you order your Corned Beef & Cabbage early since many years we have run out of it.

Don’t miss the $6.50 pitchers of Bud Select, green or not, and a party with all the trimmings. We will be holding raffles with prizes so make sure not to miss this night to remember.

Happy St. Patty’s Day From Boondocks!

The stress of worrying about how the bills will be paid and food put on the table while she is down, is not good for a woman recouping from major heart surgery. The Boondocks would like to help ease Sheila’s anxieties during her recovery and to ensure that she can come back to us soon.

Boondocks will be having a fundraiser for Sheila on March 18^th and would like to ask everyone to help with what they can. We are holding a yard sale and car wash to raise money to assist Sheila. We are asking for donations for the yard sale and for people to help, the day of the event, by volunteering to wash cars or attending this fundraiser. If you are unable to attend, there is a donation jar at the Boondocks and any help would be greatly appreciated.

We are asking everyone to take a look around for items in their home or garage, in good shape, they no longer need and would be willing to donate to this good cause. The success of the yard sale will depend on the donations we receive.

Not a singer or musician? No problem, just come listen, enjoy and support our local musicians while having a great night out with friends. Afraid of attending because of previous bad jammer or karaoke experiences? We’ve had a couple of those ourselves so we have that covered for you. If you can’t stand to listen for another second to anyone playing, you can ask Jake to gong them. Jake will then ask the crowd if they think they should be gonged and if the crowd agrees, they are gonged. But if the crowd likes the jammer(s) and decides to let them keep playing, you owe the jammer(s) a drink in the interest of good will and creative differences!

The cover charge for this night of live music and entertainment? Absolutely, No Charge! There will be a donations tip jar for Jake out for putting this whole thing together. And if you really like a band or musician, introduce yourself and buy them a drink!

It will be a fun and entertaining evening of music, food, and drinks. Mark your calendar and tell your friends because this will be a night to remember. With $11 domestic beer buckets, jello shots and food specials, you don’t want to miss this event.

All you have to do is pick your crab, name him, and then cheer him on to victory! If your crab wins, then you win a prize. So make sure to tell all your friends about this night of comical entertainment and fun. With $11 buckets of beer and food & drink specials, you’re sure to have a night to remember.

The crabs available for you to look over at any time. You can pick and pay for your crab anytime after 6:30pm the night of the races with races starting at 8:30. Pay the $5 fee for your crab and get a coupon good for a free drink.

Right now, our crabs are in intense training to get ready for this event so you need to get there early so you will have the pick of the crabs. If you happen to already have your own thorough-bred crab, feel free to bring them. The more the merrier but you are still responsible for the fee.

Do you like playing 8 Ball? Are your Wednesday nights free? If you answered yes to both of these questions, then Boondocks would like to invite you to join their Wednesday night pool league. It’s a great way to meet new people and make friends.

Right now, Boondocks Bar, Grill & Pizzeria is forming pool league teams for Wednesday night for the upcoming season. You can join with a group of four of your friends, to make your own team or you can sign up by yourself and meet 3 new friends.

Boondocks teams play against other teams on the league from other local neighborhood bars and sometimes each other. Some of the time you will play at your favorite bar, the Boondocks, while enjoying drink specials and a free pizza for every home team playing there. Other times, you get to visit other bars in the area, to check them out while also meeting members from other teams. It’s a great way to get out of the house and beat those hump day blues.
